Description Hauke Laging 2003-08-07 22:49:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Hello,

it seems not to be possible to mount encrypted volumes with the help of the device icons. mount asks for a password but KDE does not ask the user. Thus the mount try fails and KDE shows the mount error message (which does not have much to to with the real problem).

It still behaves this way on 3.2beta1...

If you implement mounting of encrypted volumes, integration with kwallet would be nice, too.

BTW: why is this wishlist entry in kdesktop? shouldn't it be assigned to the devices-kioslave (kio_devices_mounthelper)?

You're probably right.
