I think it would be nice to see one desktop path per desktop.  This way i can put some file on one desktop and other files on another desktop.  If you think about it, we usually identify one desktop per project or task.  Only the files for that project should be on that desktop.  Other files are just clutter.

Bug closed. Kdesktop is no more mantained.
