Version: 3.1.1 (using KDE 3.1.1) Installed from: SuSE Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-13 I have a directory with View Properties stored in that directory. When I switch to that directory, the view properties do get applied correctly. When I navigate to another directory using bookmarks, the view properties do get applied to new directory. I consider this a bug. After starting konqueror, I have a default behaviour. When I visit the first directory with view properties stored in that directory, I would expect that konqueror switches back to the old view properties when I leave that directory. It seems to do this, when I navigate with the 'Up' Button. But not when using Bookmarks or the 'Home' button.
Can anyone enlighten me on how the "view properties saved in folder" option works? Because it doesn't appear to do anything on my system but I'm thinking that perhaps I misunderstand what it is meant to do.
They are stored in a file called .directory, in each directory.
Still there as described with r575787

I couldn't reproduce this in konqueror 3.5.9. Has probably been fixed.
I can still reproduce this bug in 3.5.9, it's fixed however in trunk r804042.
i also cant reproduce in trunk 824808, so i will close this bug with worksforme. sorry the developers dont have the time to fix this in kde3, if the bug still occours in kde4.1 beta2 or later, feel free to reopen. thanks for your report!
