This crash is associated with bug #57199

Double-click on (what appears to be) scroll arrow in Work Toolbar.

This seems to detach the toolbar from the main window, making a new window.

Click in this new toolbar window, CRASH.

In console, get
WARNING: KLocale: trying to look up "" in catalogue. Fix the program

KDE Crash Handler comes up, with backtrace
