Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Owing to my beeing a student my calendar is rather empty. Most of the time I have a regular schedule for that I don't need a calender. On the other hand there are items like "internship" or "holidays" which usually last much longer than a month. A 3-month view would be quite handy, as I think it is difficult to get a real overview. E.g. is currently week 3 or 4 of my internship? My holidays last from xxx until yyy. What is the best time for an internship within these days? I filed a second wish despite of but #34682 because I think these should be two separate views. A half year view can show only very little information per day because there are so many days to display. Joshuha Pollak suggests: "Maybe a 'timeline' feature that the user can set to arbitrary length (3, 6, 12 months)" I think that's a nice idea. The display could adapt its looks according to the period of time displayed. That way there would be only one icon "long period" in the toolbar.

My paper calender has a month "view": On a page is a row for each day. It would be great if korganizer could show such a view. This could be an "endless" view like the weekly view does it horizontally. An maybe it could use more than onle line for a day if required. Example: Sa 1.5. [____________________________] So 2.5. [Send Report, Go Swimming ] Mo 3.5. [____________________________] Tu 1.5. [____________________________] ... Mo 31.5. [Install next KDE release ;-)] Tu 1.5. [____________________________]

The idea from comment #2 is very similar to bug 53689.
