Version:           3.0.4 (using KDE 3.0.4)
Installed from:    Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.0 3.2-1mdk)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-16mdk

When loadingthis image:

Konqueror takes up 100% CPU, the system becomes completely irresponsive - even KTimeMon in the KDE panal freezes.. After 20-30 seconds, the things start to unfreeze.. the desktop becomes slightly responsive.. after a minute, everything is back to normal, but konqueror is still downloading data and showing the image step by step.

All this on a 700MHz PIII laptop with 256MB RAM trying to load a 3MB jpeg file!
