Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.0.4)
Installed from:    RedHat RPMs
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2 20020903 (Red Hat Linux 8.0 3.2-7) 
OS:          Linux

Tried to create a patch against an 8,500+ file repository. 

Advanced->Create Patch Against Repository

CVS Diff window appears.

/usr/bin/cvs -f -z3 diff -uR show in the window.

ps -ef | grep cvs show the command being executed.

Get some output to the CVS Diff window and the throbber stops. Only option is to Cancel the CVS Diff window.

The same command at CLI works fine.

This might be a duplicate of bug #50824 
(http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50824). 
So please retest after KDE 3.1 came out.

I'm quite convinced that this is a duplicate
of bug #50824 and it should work with KDE 3.1.

Please reopen if this is not the case.
