Version: 0.5 (using KDE KDE 3.0.4) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc 3.2 OS: Linux i've noticed that when some of my icq friends use custom chat colours, msgs are hard to read... today someone was using white text on black background... the msg window in kopete apparently knows about the white text cuz all the text is white, but the background doesn't change and remains white making the text invisible to see unless i select it.
Currently the Chatwindow including color/font-support is undergoing big changes, I think this problem will be fixed then, I will post again when I have made appropriate changes.
This will be fixed when chatview has an "ignore colors in messages" option and that's not icq-specific.
Does this still happen in current CVS? We added safe guards to not allow that.
In the current CVS there are an new algoritm to change the color if it can be not visible. and you have also the possibility to disable custom fonts.
Hm... same bug: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138118
Why is this marked "FIXED" when I still see this problem in Kopete 0.12.5?
