(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kdesktop Version: v1.9.8 (using KDE 3.0.0 ) Severity: wishlist Installed from: Mandrake Linux 8.2 i586 - Cooker Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Mandrake Linux 8.2 2.96-0.76mdk) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-6mdk OS/Compiler notes: Try to select many files on your desktop with your mouse (right click + mouse drag) a box appears and you can change its size by moving one of its corner. Now it would be nice to have a translucent selecting box with round corners like nautilus does I find this much more beautiful also selected icons and text under the icons could have round corners instead of the rectangular box. Thanks (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog)

Someone wrote a patch for this already. It might be out of date though. Also, there's been some work making the icon view painting more efficient so some of the performance problems with the patch may be gone now. It's still a very nice addition that I hope gets added to qt ... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 47633 ***
