- What I was doing when the application crashed:Amarok crashed when I  dragged 'mp3 feed' on the 'going linux' webpage to  playlist->add media->Name. I am running  ubuntu 10.10  filename was HTTP//goinglinux.com/mp3podcast.xml. I realize this was probably incorrect but it simply crashed rather than indicate an error or ignore the input.

FWIW: you are using a totally outdated Amarok and KDE, current are 2.6 for Amarok and 4.9.1 for KDE. Please do not report bugs for such outdated versions.
