Hm, not a duplicate, sorry, I just reproduced this here: Amarok 2.4-git, KDE 4.6 on Kubuntu 10.10, Qt. 4.7.0 Trying to add the stream through the Playlist menu -> Add stream doesn't add anything, and doesn't produce a crash. What causes the crash is actually downloading the link and trying to add it with the menu Amarok -> Play Media. ASX playlist format is not supported by Amarok. http://www.energy981.com/ also supply m3u platlist (For Mac button), you can use It instead.

Is this a case of worked in the 1X but not in V2? I do not recall if i went back to the old version on my laptop or was using V2 but it was working in Kubuntu 11.04 2 weeks ago on asf streams.
Well, if you used version Amarok 2.4.1 on Ubuntu 11.04 then this is the latest version and it is certainly fixed in that one.
Thank You Myriam I have not set up the PPA repositories on this install and had on the laptop. Only at Amarok 2.4.0
