- What I was doing when the application crashed:
The first time Amarok is started it crashes every time, especially if it is loaded from the KDE session in the destructor of any Plasma applet (if I deactivate the applet it will crash in another one). After pressing "restart application" in DrKonqi it will work normally. The crash on startup also happens if it is restarted after another type of crash (ffmpeg/xine related).

The crash can be reproduced every time.

This is already fixed in the upcoming Amarok 2.3.2. In the mean time, you can remove the SimilarArtist applet as a workaround. Beware, the same crash happens for the Lyrics and Album applets, too. It is triggered by your upgrading to KDE 4.5 unfortunately.

amarok (2.3.1) on KDE Platform 4.5.00 (KDE 4.5.0) using Qt 4.7.0

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

After logging in to the system, fired up Amarok, it asked for password to open the kwallet and soon after entering the password, it crashed :(
