(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: korganizer Version: KDE 2.1.1 Severity: normal Installed from: RedHat RPMs Compiler: Not Specified OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: RedHat 7.1 Recurring event are always displayed using the dates of the original occurence instead of the dates of the occurrence being displayed. This is especially confusing for multi-day recurring events. (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
Right, we should display what instance of the recurrent event is shown in the KOEventViewer. I'm changing the severity to wishlist, as this is more a missing feature than a bug.
what is the current status on this, with 3.1? (bug focus) - to me it seems like what would be a crucial part of recurring events, however I am not disbuting or arguing against it being set to WISHLIST, I just want to add, that I think this bug has a comment worth considering for future updates. P.s. I am a user, not a developer

Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created korganizer-devel mailing list.
This happens even in the new version for KDE4
I don't know if the occurrence's date should be shown in the editor, that could give the user the idea he is only editing that occurrence, but that's not what's going to happen.
The event viewer displays the date of the occurrence sine some years now.
