Description Rafał Malinowski 2009-12-10 01:01:46 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

In my current setup I've only one panel on left side of desktop. Every plasmoid that 'slided out' of it cannot 'slide in' (hide0 properly. It stops 'sliding in' when about 64 pixels is left. When a window is activated it overdraws that what is left of the plasmoid (maybe it is not a plasmoid but kwin artifact, sorry, I can't tell it).

How to reproduce:
1. enable kwin effects
2. create panel on left side
3. add kicker applet to left panel
4. open full-screen window
5. click on kicker applet, menu slides out of panel
6. click on kicker applet, menu slides behind panel
7. about 64pixel wide part of menu is still visible
8. clickk on fullscreen window, menu disappears

I'm attaching a screenshot of that behavious.

I've used other plasmoids to do the screenshot that in 'how to reproduce' description. But behavior is exactly the same.

It's only garbage that is painted, so NOT usable.
