Basically when plasma dialogs are closed (like the device notifier or the panel config) garbage is left on the screen.

A screencast is betteer then 1000 words.

I can reproduce this artifact here using:

This can also be reproduced with KRunner on the top edge of the screen.

I Can confirm this bug here with 4.3.85 and QT 4.6 (on gentoo amd64)

The screenie shows the upper left corner of my screen after the media manager windows disappeared

SVN commit 1080634 by graesslin:

Do a full repaint at end of sliding popups animation and when a window gets deleted to remove artefacts.
As the effect is doing full repaints all the time due to PAINT_SCREEN_WITH_TRANSFORMED_WINDOWS this one extra repaint doesn't matter.

RC3, kubuntu jaunty fully updated and the sliding popups still do not disappear. Did a reboot.

Sorry for the last comment, kwin --version says i am still at 4.3.95, while the platform is at 4.3.98. I'll bug the kubuntu guys.
