Description Thomas Domenig 2009-05-22 11:19:45 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

When you start typing a URL in your web browser's address bar, you get certain suggestions for your input. When these are shown in Firefox/Opera, Alt + TAB for switching windows doesn't work. It works with the Windows version of these programs and also with Konqueror, but not on KDE. So it seems to be a KDE issue.

I know there is a duplicate for it... Problem is that global shortcuts are not working when you are typing in a dropdown list or menu.

So why does it work in Konqueror?

Because Konqueror and Firefox are different implementations? If you open the dropdown in Konqueror it doesn't work as well.

@Martin:
dupe of bug #70063, by chance?
