Version: r925889 (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources This is the "settings" menu on kate: - show statusbar - show path -------------------- - configure toolbars - configure kate -------------------- - show toolbar - fullscreen mode -------------------- - configure shortcuts The three "configure" actions should be grouped together, the same should be for the three "show" actions. With the current ordering, it is difficult to find the actions, moreover users are used to have the "configure application" on the bottom group and, being the last configure group with only one action (configure shortcut), it is easy to click over it by mistake. I know at least two people which observed this issue. A coherent ordering could be: - show statusbar - show path - show toolbar -------------------- - fullscreen mode -------------------- - configure shortcuts - configure toolbars - configure kate In this way kate settings menu will be like other KDE applications (for example konqueror, dolphin, kmail, gwenview and so on) It is important to have a coherent UI.
