Description Gennady Uraltsev 2009-02-04 16:29:46 UTC
Version: 0.70.0 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-11-generic

Every time I start kopete I am presented with my contacts and a msg that says that a another one has added me and if I want to authorize and confirm this contact. Any changes that I carry out including:

accepting contacts,
deleting contacts,
creating a group and moving contacts to new groups,

are not remembered. By this I mean that for the rest of that session the changes remain active. When I completely close kopete and then start it again these changes are reflected until the moment that the connection with the wlm server is established and after that all my changes are lost. I yet again get a msg asking for confirmation of the same contact that added me and all the contacts that I moved to other groups reappear where they were before. This makes me think that kopete does not syncronize the changes back to the msn server.

This is a very annoying bug and I cannot understand why such a bug, that compromises usability almost immediately has not been already seen and fixed. I hope it will be fixed, since for now I cannot continue using kopete.

I also have the "another one has added me" problem here. Kopete from KDE 4.2.0, Portage 2.2_rc23 (default/linux/amd64/2008.0/desktop, gcc-4.1.2, glibc-2.6.1-r0, 2.6.27.9-lvs x86_64).
