It's always the same 40 accounts that I have blocked before. aMSN and other programs do not exhibit this behavior.
This is with the Kopete included in Kubuntu 9.04a3. If there's any diagnostic testing that I can do to help isolate the problem, please let me know.
If you report the bug, you don't need to be on the CC list.
are those contacts in your blocklist? enter in the privacy tab in wlm preferences and check if they are listed as blocked.

I use Kopete from KDE 4.2.0, libmsn-4.0_beta4 and my kopete still has this problem. My system: Gentoo Portage 2.2_rc23 (default/linux/amd64/2008.0/desktop, gcc-4.1.2, glibc-2.6.1-r0, 2.6.27.9-lvs x86_64).

Tiago, both contacts are listed as blocked in my wlm account.
Hi, I just committed a fix in trunk. Can anybody using trunk confirm if that commit fixes this bug? thanks
It solved the problem for me. Thanks :-)
Fixed by Salem in revision 922083
Sorry guys, I am a bit of a beginner here. But what does this mean? I understand that you fixed it somewhere in the development version. Could you give me a tip on what to do and where to look for help to actually getting this bugfix on my system: Kubuntu 8.10? Usually the updates and bug fixes are received through apt-get.. But it doesn't have any new updates and I still have the same problem. Maybe I need to enable some kind of repository? Thanks. Sorry if this is slightly OT.
Hi, I believe you will need to wait for kde 4.2.1 to get this fix, unless kubuntu packagers import the patch from the kde svn and apply to the current version. You can ask them to include the commit rev: 922083.
