Version: 3.5.9 (using 3.5.10, Debian Package 4:3.5.10.dfsg.1-0lenny1 (lenny/sid)) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.26-1-686 Usually, I don't use the multi-months view of the miniature calendar pane in the top-left corner of the kOrganizer window. However, I _knew_ that it's possible to get more but one calendar shown. So, I looked through: * 1. Tried to get a two-months view by vertically extending the months' pane. * 2. RMB clicking to get a context menu. Maybe that'd offer the multi-months view. However: Anywhere within the miniature calendar view just makes the right pane's view go to the clicked day. (IMHO that's kind of overkill, since LMB does exactly the same.) Alternatively, clicking the displayed month's label, say 'January', just offers all the other months to jump to. -- Nice, but not what I was looking for. * 3. Toolbars. No button there to get a multi-months view. * 4. Menu, first one to last entry, just to make sure I didn't miss any entry, before I file a bug report. So, actually, I couldn't find any glint of how to get that multi-months view. Only, when I was about to file (the first draft of) this here bug report I learned that extending the months' view _horizontally_ would've given me the wanted multi-months view. I yet filed a bug report (bug #180773 that is) to make that one consistent. However, as there's apparently nowhere any hint on how to get the multi-months view, I strongly recommend to put somewhere some helpful hint on how to get to the multi-months view. That I tried to extend the months' view first was pure intuition, and someone else might simply miss it -- simply as I missed to try it horizontally too. . PS: Bug reports for bug #81781 and bug #85048 might be related to this here one.
In KDE4 vertically works too.
Thanks for testing this in KDE4. However, is there somewhere a hint, too, that the user would get the multi-cal view by increasing the mini cal's view? I think, that would be quite helpful.
