It would be nice if the space between the username and the protocol icon (in right align mode) displayed a snippet of the away message (well as much as possible). In classic mode (left align), it would just go after the protocol icons.

This is useful because it allows you to read all the away messages in one scan through the buddy list without opting for the much more space consuming detailed view.
