If one adds a directory on an external harddisk to the speedbar and clicks on it while the external harddrive is not mounted, the user does not get notified that the directory does not exist.

The perfect solution would be to mount the external harddisk, if attached and notify the user if that fails and the directory is not available.

The second best solution is to not show any folders in the speedbar which do not exist.

The minimal solution is to notify the user that the directory clicked on does not exist.
