Description Seb 2008-10-22 11:25:51 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

On KDE 4.1.2 I disable the file preview option in the file open/save dialog although I need it, because it autoadjusts to random and unusable sizes.

scenario:
o In file dialog, the bookmarks bar is turned on and the files are listed using the small icon mode.
o Open file dialog. enable preview widget. adjust the widget to a size That you like. Perform action (close dialog)
o Reopen file dialog. The preview widget is still enabled. But its size is not the one you have chosen the last time. Instead it almost covers the complete width, leaving too little space for the file list widget.

This may be related/duplicate of bug 160400

Confirmed. Yes, it is related. It is probably the same bug, but it appears at different actions.
