Version: (using KDE 4.1.2) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Konqueror sometimes renders the fields where you can input text on web sites too small: The letters are cut off on the top and on the bottom. Sometimes the letters are only slightly cut off, sometimes they are no longer discernible.
Created attachment 27928 [details] Example from page https://direkt.postbank.de/direktportalApp/index.jsp In this case the letters entered in the box are only slightly cut off and therefore still legible. However, on some sites the problem is worse.
I can't confirm this, do you have another example? What font are you using? Thanks!
Normally using Tahoma TT-Font. Just randomly tried some other fonts for this page, had the same problem. I'll report other sites with this problem as soon as I stumble upon them - as always, I know, I have this problem rather often, however when searching for examples, I couldn't pinpoint one ;).
Created attachment 27929 [details] Another example This mirght be a similar "problem" (OK, very small inconvenience), albeit not related to text input fields: The progress bar displayed e.g. on my Fritz!Box when doing a firmware update is cut off in the same way as some text input fields.
Created attachment 27930 [details] Another example - www.n-tv.de Just found another example: When going to the german news site www.n-tv.de, on the right hand side you have some kind of weather applet. The input filed for the location also cuts off the letters.
This bugs only occurs with the oxygen style (4.1.x and trunk). See bug #172138
I have another example where the horizontal size of the input field is rendered too small http://efa.mvv-muenchen.de/mvv/XSLT_TRIP_REQUEST2?language=de See the date fileds there and compare to the rendering in Firefox !
