i have got the same problem as above.
few hours before i have turned off my computer, now im back and it's like Markus reported above.
additionally i have lost ALT key functionality so i am not able to switch between windows using ALT+TAB etc also ive got problems with F12 etc
so sth is wrong :|

i'm using kubuntu 8.04 + kde 4.1.2
Comment 2 Markus Sammallahti 2008-10-08 22:00:57 UTC
I have the same situation. My laptop froze for some reason and I rebooted it and this crash now comes every time I login. Only thing I did between the first initial boot and freezing was [UPGRADE] libakonadiprivate1 1.0.0-0ubuntu3~hardy1~ppa1 -> 1.0.0-0ubuntu4~hardy1~ppa1, but I downgraded the package back and it didn't help.

I'm also running Kubuntu 8.04 + KDE 4.1.2
Comment 3 Markus Sammallahti 2008-10-09 04:49:18 UTC
I removed all applications from autostart, and found out that this crash happens when amarok starts. I'm running Amarok Version 1.92.2 Using KDE 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2)
