Description Bassio 2008-09-09 01:35:59 UTC
Version: 1.1 (using 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.1), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-19-generic

As the topic says .. it does not make the copy

On the other hand dragging the file to a nearby folder with the CTRL key down successfully makes the copy.

So the problem is only present when trying to make a copy in the same directory.

N.B. Ctrl-C Ctrl-V works

Confirmed, the icon for the copy appears, but when releasing the mouse button, it does nothing. This in Kubuntu 8.04 4.1.1 packages.
Comment 2 Bassio 2008-09-12 21:32:37 UTC
Added CC to konq-bugs@kde.org, since it also concerns konqueror developers.

This is a duplicate of bug 168773. But that bug has been *incorrectly* marked as a duplicate of bug 164314!!
Comment 4 Peter Penz 2008-11-29 15:19:10 UTC
Marked as duplicate of bug 164314 - believe me: if 164314 is resolved, this issue gets resolved too :-)
