Description Dotan Cohen 2008-07-10 18:01:29 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.83)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When creating a new event, one must choose the start and end times. The computed duration is then shown. It would be nice if the duration were configurable, as well as the end time.

For instance, the user has a default 2:00 hour duration. He sets the Start Time to 14:00, then the computer calculates 16:00 as the End Time, and "Duration: 2 hours" is shown. Then, then user clicks on End Time and changes it to 18:00. The duration is updated to show "4 hours". It would be nice if the "2 hours" text were a drop down box, and could have 15 minute intervals. Then, the user could simply choose the duration he needs instead of calculating the ending time.

In this mockup you can see the duration as being configurable. Additionally, I
switched the locations of the Time Associated and Duration column and the
Timezone column. This is because I should imagine Time Associated and Duration
being a more common concern than Timezone for most users.
