Version:           v0.8.5 (using 3.5.9, Mandriva Linux release 2008.1 (Official) for x86_64)
Compiler:          Target: x86_64-manbo-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.24.4-laptop-1mnb

Kget continues downloading files inspite the download number limit is set to 2, so only 2 files should be download at a time and not all like happens now.

Can you explain me how is this bug set as resolved when im using from branch_3.5 and updated from 2 days ago?

It's fixed in KDE4, you should update... We won't fix that in KDE3-Version.

Why should i start using a kde version thats still too buggy, why isnt fixed in kde3?

Cause KDE4-Version is a complete rewrite... we can't simply backport it... also most of the old developers are not anymore there...
