Description erik_hahn 2008-04-20 15:10:07 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 4.2.3
OS: Linux

After starting KDE svn with default configuration (.kde, .kdesvn and .kderc have been renamed before), the system tray plasmoid displays only a white square. Icons that should be located in the tray don't respond, you always get the standard menu containing "Panel settings", "Add widgets...", "Remove this panel" and "Remove this System Tray". Tray plasmoids manually added to the panel or the desktop behave the same.

There's no need to report these obvious issues. Plasma is under high development at the moment and the issue will certainly be taken care of.

But thank you for being diligent and reporting these bugs. Just understand that there are going to be a lot of things wrong given that everything in plasma is under revision. I'd rather people report these bugs than assuming everyone else knows about them.

It is probably the same as http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160654

David, thats for 4.0.3 . I have 4.0.3 running just fine. This is for svn, which does display this issue.

It seems to be working (for me at least) again as of today

Fixed in our trunk version since yesterday evening
