Description Dmitry 2008-04-05 11:45:02 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          g++ (GCC) 4.1.2 (Gentoo 4.1.2 p1.1)
OS:                Linux

Hello All.

Seems that kget does not inherit encoding information from konqueror when opening a new download. I entered the FTP server with localized names (windows cp1251, standard russian encoding). My system locale is UTF8.

After setting correct encoding in "Service"->"Network disk encoding" files became labeled correctly (ok).

Then i tried to download a file through kget (using popup menu in konqueror). Kget accepted request, but showed garbaged url in it's notify message. Of course, download failed, because kget could not find the file with such garbaged name.

Note: Copying using konqueror itself works perfectly (and all of the names are displayed correctly)
