Description KD 2008-01-16 19:32:54 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

The defaults set in "Settings -> Configure Korganizer" for the default
appointment time, length, do not get transferred to "new event" pop-ups.
Instead, every new event defaults to "all day" and to deviate from that
requires unchecking that box and then scrolling *lots* down to get desired times.

Indications of any option for recurrence is initially hidden in just a simple "Edit" button on the new-event pop-up. After editing recurrence (having
eventually figured out that that button was where I should do it, since
the recurrence tab that I was used to had disappeared), *then* it says "edit recurrence".

IN addition, the "Categories" option in new events popup isn't type-able, only menu-selectable, and now *way* over to the right, away from where one is otherwise typing, and a very un-intuitive position.

Wishlist: STOP MOVING THINGS AROUND between releases, c.f. the "categories" new position and the new approach for editing recurrence (tab was better).

* Default settings work for me in trunk r865573.
* The recurrence button "bug" is a duplicate of bug 158661 (or the other way round).

So what remains is (I think) a wish:
Make the categories line on adding a new event typeable.

(Changing bug title and severity accordingly)
