Description Maciej Pilichowski 2007-11-25 17:55:15 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

For example: unread message custom color does make sense -- it is KMail specific color so it is always "custom".

Custom colors should only apply to system-wide colors, because THERE user decides if she/he want the system color or the custom one.

Currently keeping system colors "compatibility" and on the other hand defining KMail color is a hard task, please simplify it by changing this checkbox to "use KDE system colors". This checkbox would have impact only on system colors, KMail colors should always be editable.

I'll close this as a duplicate of bug 115959.
Both talk about the same problems (System colors not honored in the KMail custom colors settings).
Bug 115959 also covers custom fonts, which have the same problem.
