OK, you are right. The german translations are up-to-date, as indicated by http://l10n.kde.org/stats/gui/stable/de/kdepim/index.php.

That mail mentions a bug number of Suse's bugzilla.
I couldn't find their bugzilla though, it seems to be buried deep in the Novell site...

Could also be a duplicate of bug 115309, but that bug existed way before KDE 3.5.7. Strange.
