Description Wesley Schwengle 2007-06-04 15:21:45 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Currently you can detach tabs/sessions from konsole and you get a new konsole window with the session/tab. You are not able to attach a tab to a window. This is kind of annoying when you accidentally hit the detach button, you cannot reverse the action.

Another reason for adding it is, you have two konsole windows, and you want to attach a tab to the other window. This is currently not supported.

Basicly I'm requesting the attach function so I can detach and attach tabs, so both actions are supported.

Thanks for the suggestion. There is also a related report - http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=122795 . Solving that would probably result in solving this as well.

Your're welcome :)

The related report looks indeed very similar. Although reordering tabs can be acomplished already (via mouse and keyboard).

I understand from the related report that this behavior needs to be implemented in a underlying library (KMdi). Is this correct?
