Version:           1.9.7 (using KDE 3.5.7, PLD Linux Distribution)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.6 (PLD Linux)
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.16.38-1

Time to time i notice that email i sent is not available in Sent folder.

i'm not able reproduce it, but it happens time to time, and not only me, but friends have reported it too.

Please check if this could be the same as bug 135044 or bug 126687.
Do you have any special settings regarding folders for sent mail?

they are not similar because i can't find the sent mail from anywhere.

I noticed the same thing on KMail Version 1.9.6 (Fedora 8). It is not reproducible, but it happens for some emails!

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
