Version: 0.2 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (edgy) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu1~edgy1) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-11-generic I dont think this is a translation issue. Systemsetting shows wrong-language items. steps to reproduce (i have german as my main language): install german language pack. select german as your language. install spanish language pack. select spanish as default language. select german again as your language. -> ok, system is in german again (of course after restart of KDE each time to have it complete) BUT, look at systemsettings: some of the icons are still spanish. and one of them is even "Name=Disco y Sistemas de Archivos" - whats that? a parsing error? I can even remove Spanish from my languages in systemsettings/kcmcontrol module - the spanish items don't go away. Is someone maintaining systemsetting anyway? if not, why don't use good old kcontrol? noone cares about the doubleclick Bug 134630 either...

KDE 3.5.7, Kubuntu Gutsy. Some of the items in the system settings are in finnish (=translated) some in english (=untranslated or something wrong there) and some in SPANISH (=definitely something wrong there). See screenshots fin/1 and fin/2.
Created attachment 21714 [details] fin /1 screenshot Some items either not translated or the translation thingie is broken..
Created attachment 21715 [details] fin/2 screenshot The disk manager is in spanish in the finnish translation!
Can you still reproduce using a more recent KDE/kubuntu version?
@Risto: can you still reproduce using a more recent version?
@FiNeX: I'm running Intrepid & KDE4 on this computer and I can't find the disk management at all.. But I'll check next week at the other computer what's the situation but my feeling is that it's been fixed and the problem might have been something broken in Ubuntu translation management or so..
@Risto: Ok, thanks for your time. I'll wait for your answer :-)
KDE 3.5.10 and Ubuntu Hardy: It's been fixed and I'm fine if the bug is closed. I think I heard that it was about Ubuntu translations being messed up..
Thanks for your feedback again! I close this bug.
