Description Meghazi Fabien 2006-11-27 20:14:46 UTC
Version:           1.6.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a-1 (testing/unstable))
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.17.1-w1

A cool option in konsole settings would be the possibiliy to make new sessions to automatically change directory to the directory of the session where the 'new session' event was triggered.

Eg:

  Tab1 ~/
* Tab2 /tmp
  Tab3 /home/user

I'm on tab 2, I hit Ctrl+Alt+N a new tab/session is opened and it automatically change directory to /tmp

As this might not be the desired behaviour people might want to, I guess this should be an option in the konsole settings.

I think this request has been asked as part of other reports, but accepted anyway.
