Description UncleOwen 2006-10-15 15:28:37 UTC
Version: 1.4.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

Artists beginning with 'The ' (e.g. 'The Beatles') are handled specially by AmaroK in a number of ways:
- In the collection view they are sorted as if the 'The ' was not present (The Beatles are sorted unter B)
- When using the "Organize File names" feature, %albumartist evaluates to "Beatles, The" instead of "The Beatles".

I like this feature. I would like it even better, if it applied to other languages equivalents of "The ", also. In German, this would be "Der ", "Die " and "Das ". IMHO, this should be handled independently of the locales setting, as I have songs from both German and Englisch bands in my collection.
