Description oleg_box@mail.ru 2006-10-09 16:55:28 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from:    Fedora RPMs
OS:                Linux

To reproduce this Bug I tried a download link on sourceforge.net because I faced with this problem exactly there.I use FC4 dist, and I've managed to
reproduce this on Debian as well (I think the distribution does not matter here).

Well, how to reproduce a crash:
1. Go to http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/madwifi/madwifi-0.9.2.tar.bz2?use_mirror=mesh

(Just an example page I used, hope that you will be able to localise the problem to use minimal page)

2. In the upper area of this page there is a note
with link:

"Your download should begin shortly. If it does not, try http://mesh.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/madwifi/madwifi-0.9.2.tar.bz2 or choose a different mirror"

The main thing here is that you should not wait until
upload dialog box appears, but click on this link.
(IMPORTANT: you should manage to click on the link before "save us" dialog box appears);

3. Wait a bit until a new page is rendered and
dialog box appears.
Then click on "save as" button, after which you should get a crash!

-----------------
Do not know if that help you, but here is a crash dump:
