Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages i was searching for a tool to print photos on photopaer, but i can't found on for ubuntu or kde. so, digikam must have a plugin to do this ;-) first, you should take some images into a special array. then, i want to get my sitze of the paper (4x6 inches or 10x15 centimeter). after this, the border of the paper and the imagees should be shown and i want to take the best part on the photo. i want to resize, zoom an flip my images. after this last step, i want to print my array.
This option would be great. Last days I was searching to find a way to print photos borderless on a 10x15cm photo paper. Then I found this option in gwenview with the "Print Wizard" (using the kipi-plugins). But I like working with Digikam and there should be such an option.
Is this related to Bug 103150?
Michael (comment #1) Print Wizard as you said is a kipi-plugin and you can use it also from digikam (just enable it). Well even if I'm very happy you're using gwenview ;). Gwenview offers a little print dialog from file menu in which you can decide how big you want to print your picture respecting the ratio image, such an option is, i believe, gwenview only by now. About the wish print wizard from kipi-plugins is the solution, so also this bug should be closed imo.
yes, that is what i mean. why i didn't found this plugin ;)
Can you close this bug then? Thanks, Angelo
I have found it: Album - Export - Print Wizard. That really isn't intuitive to find, I would have expected it everywhere else but under album. It would be much more intuitive to be able to access that option from single picture view or from context menu of a picture.
or in printer menu ;-) i search, where i can close ist ;-)
the tool allready exists as a kipi-plugin.
With new PrintCreator from digiKam core version 5.7.0, the problem is not reproducible. Gilles Caulier
