Description Stephan Sokolow 2006-07-17 03:05:05 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from:    Compiled From Sources
Compiler:          gcc (GCC) 3.4.5 (Gentoo 3.4.5-r1, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9)
OS:                Linux

When using the Page Up/Down keys to scroll a document using less inside a copy of Konsole, certain UTF-8 characters (eg. certain characters which I believe are tagalog) don't get erased unless something else draws over them.

One example would be the last two or three characters in the Comment[ta]= line from /usr/share/applications/kde/kdmtheme.desktop on my system.

They also move to overlap the characters prior to them when selected.

If the KDE bug tracker supports UTF-8 and my Konqueror isn't messed up, then the following line should be a copy-and-paste of the line I referred to as an example.
Comment[ta]=kdmtheme - ஒரு கேகனடரோல கூறு
