Please update KDEPrint to support all newly introduced features of CUPS 1.2. As a minimum, this support should be implemented in the first release of KDE4. If possible, backport it to future KDE 3.5.x or 3.6.x releases.

There are 15 currently unsupported cupsd.conf 1.1.x parameters in KDEPrint:

  - BrowseLDAPBindDN
  - BrowseLDAPDN
  - BrowseLDAPPassword
  - BrowseLDAPServer
  - BrowseLocalOptions
  - BrowseLocalProtocols
  - BrowseRemoteOptions
  - BrowseRemoteProtocols
  - DefaultEncryption
  - DefaultPolicy
  - DefaultShared
  - JobRetryInterval
  - JobRetryLimit
  - PassEnv
  - Policy
  - ServerToken
  - SetEnv
  - UseNetworkDefault

Users should be able to configure those CUPS server parameters when running "kaddprinterwizard --serverconfig".

KDEPrint is obsolete, unmaintained and will never be revived.  Closing all open bugs.
