Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1KDE 1.2) Installed from: Fedora RPMsFedora RPMs I like the journal that's available in KOrganizer and Kontact, but it would be nice to add photos (or files) to it as well, ideally by a simple click "Add photos/files" button. This would be a very useful feature that would make the journal very good for describing visits from friends, making sure the day's files are easily locateable, and so on. Ideally, large photos would be displayed in a reasonable size for the page; perhaps clicking on them would open an appropriate application based on their file attribute. I'm thinking of a "digital scrapbook" kind of thing. Not sure how the images would be displayed _within_ the journal page; drag and drop might be nice, with text options for captions, right-side or left-side only, or wrap around. Please contact me if you would like more information or need a beta tester. I'm a writer, so I'd be happy to assist by writing some documentation for it if need be. Unfortunately, I don't program...so I'm no use there. Best wishes and thanks for creating a great product. The past few years I think the Kontact/KOrganizer has really gotten polished and is very user-friendly. Kudos!
Ooh, option to "Upload as Blog" would really be sweet too. :-)
The ability to add links to local files / the Internet as well as some simple formatting (like those you're offered when using KMail to compose a letter) would be extremely nice! Related bug (wishlist): http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120657 (organisation of journal in blog manner)
