Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.92) Installed from: Gentoo Packages I wish that konqueror would draw it's selection as rounded with anti-aliased corners like in gnome/osx. check out this picture for an example (picture also includes example of new selector-box like in wish: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90051 ): picture: http://www.kde-look.org/content/pre1/16962-1.png This looks much smoother and should be implemented quickly :)

Coincidentally, I just wrote these patches for anti-aliased rounded selections in kdesktop and kdeui a few days ago. The scaling trick for smoothing was inspired by BasKet (although it's common enough). http://trisk.acm.jhu.edu/kde/round-selection2.png is an example
Created attachment 18212 [details] Patch for rounded selections in icon views for kdelibs This patch is for smooth rounded selections icon views.
Created attachment 18213 [details] Patch for rounded selections in kdesktop for kdebase This patch is for smooth rounded selections in kdesktop and applies to kdebase.
As far as I can see this one can be closed. It's not relevant anymore for / fixed in KDE 4...
