Description Bojan 2005-08-08 19:42:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package

"Clear list when opening a file" is set to on.

When you drop files on it, current playlist is not deleted, it continues playing current file.

Playlist should be deleted and play should start with the first file dropped on player.

If the current playlist is empty, it still doesn't start playing new files from playlist, as it should be.

Not exactly, there is two things, the mainwindow and the playlist and they have different behaviour. Dropping on the player should indeed clear the playlist whereas dropping on the playlist should add it.
What you probably want is the playlist being gone and replaced by a plugin that always plays the last file.
Btw, Winamp has a similar behaviour, dropping files on its mainwindow seems to clear the playlist first (although I have "queue in playlist" selected in its prefs), dropping onto the playlist itself adds it to the end.

I expect it to behave like winamp. That's just me.
I am not sure about this option "queue in playlist".
