Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Desktop->RMB->Create New->Link to Device->Crypto Device I set up an encrypted folder as described here [1] and there [2] (mount an encrypted filesystem stored within a file using crypto-loop). For convenience, I addded this file-based file-system to /etc/fstab, therefore I'm able to mount it as user and it works fine so far. My point: it would be nice to have a link to a crypto-device on the KDE Desktop that has icon "encrypted" if unmounted and "decrypted" if mounted. The problem: one has to enter a password to mount the encrypted fs, a popup (maybe access to kwallet) is needed. AFAIK, there's no way to enter a password in the current setup?!
