(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kdesktop
Version: v1.9.1 (KDE post 1.94 > 20000911)
Severity: wishlist

It would be nice if you could empty trash the trash from the desktop menu (not the right/middle click context menu the one at the top of the screen).

If you're going to copy an interface at least take some of the best things from it :) You already have Logout and Lock Screen - why not the trash as well?

In the "Style" module (or "kcmshell style" from the command line)

In CVS, there exists code to make the MacOS menubar embedded into a child panel. Please
see bug 52942 for details. You can then add anything you wish to that child panel as well.
