Description Daniel Franke 2005-06-16 11:47:38 UTC
Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE 3.4.0, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-4GB

Konqueror tree view:
 + current-root (not necessarily '/')
   + foodir
     + sub-foodir1
     + sub-foodir2 <-- selected/highlighted
   + bardir

Using the RMB context menu on "sub-foodir2" to create a new folder works as expected. Using Edit->Create New->Folder (or the appropiate shortcut) creates a new directory in "current-root", not "sub-foodir2" which is selected and would be more intuitive.

(KDE-3.4.0, build from sources)

has similarities with #107368.

I tend to think that this a bug, but I'll see what others think first.
