Version:           0.10 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          gcc (GCC) 3.3.5  (Gentoo Linux 3.3.5-r1, ssp-3.3.2-3, pie-8.7.7.1) compiler options: -O3 -mcpu=athlon-tbird -fomit-frame-pointer
OS:                Linux

Kopete version - 0.10
X.org version - 6.8.2-r1
KDE version - 3.4 RC1

Kopete causes X to crash when a new message is received.  This only happens when a new message is received and the "New Message" bubble is displayed.  Once View is clicked on the bubble, X crashes.

However, if translucency support is disabled in KDE, this does not happen anymore.
