The problem is known but cannot be changed due to technical limits in the KDE 3.x libraries. Thanks for the quick reply Andreas. No big issue anyways. Just not easily to find out for joe user. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 87140 *** Glad to have found this solution, thanks. However, to me, this counts as a still-open bug, it's not resolved. The bottom line is that you set a keyboard shortcut, which is later forgotten. If the bug is not fixable (really?), I think it would be an improvement to not list the spam filter actions in the 'Configure Shortcuts' dialog, because it is known that setting them there won't work. At least that may prompt more users to look under the filter options to set the shortcut option there. Though that's still less than ideal of course. But at least it's working.
